Experience the wonder and mystery of Uluru and Kata Tjuta on a two-day tour from Alice Springs. You'll see all the highlights of Uluru (Ayers Rock), including the unforgettable sights of an Uluru sunset and sunrise. Day 1. Guided Mala Walk, Mutitjulu Waterhole, Sunset

Departing Alice Springs, travel through the rugged outback
landscape. Stop at a camel farm, where you have the chance to ride
a camel (own expense), then continue to Ayers Rock Resort. Early in
the afternoon, travel to the Cultural Centre and the Maruku Arts
and Craft Cooperative where you may see talented Aboriginal artists
at work. Then join a guided walk to Mutitjulu waterhole, view
ancient rock art and hear stories of Aboriginal legends.
Afterwards, take the Mala Walk around the base of Uluru (Ayers
Rock) to learn about the geology and flora of the region and
explore Kantju Gorge.
Late in the afternoon, travel to sunset strip where you will enjoy
a complimentary glass of wine as you admire the spectacular display
of light and color as you watch an Uluru sunset.

Day 2. Uluru at Sunrise, Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Walpa (Olga)
Gorge, Alice Springs
Enjoy a tea or coffee at Uluru as the sun's first rays bring the
desert to life. With the sun climbing in the morning sky, travel to
the western section of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to the 36
immense rock domes of Kata Tjuta. Enjoy a guided walk into Walpa
Gorge, marvel at the sheer walls that flank you as you enter the
gorge. This afternoon depart Ayers Rock Resort for your return
journey to Alice Springs, arriving at 6.30 pm.
