Broome Half-Day Tour with Optional Cable Beach Sunset Camel Ride
Duration: 5 hours
Location: Broome, Australia
One of the best ways to see the spectacular sunset at Cable Beach is from the back of a camel! This afternoon tour of Broome gives you an insight into Broome's pearl industry history, a tour through Chinatown and Gantheaume Point, before climbing aboard your camel for a ride along the sands whilst watching the sun go down. This is definitely one of Broome's highlights!
Beginning in Chinatown with fascinating stories of this multi
cultural precinct, visit a pearl shop and Sun Pictures before
heading through Old Broome past old Pearling Masters' homes. At
Town Beach, learn of Broome's One Day War then stop at Matso's
Broome Brewery to taste their hand made ales and famous ginger beer
or visit one of the local art and craft galleries nearby.
Then visit the Japanese Cemetery and Broome Port before arriving at
Gantheaume Point, known for dinosaur footprints and Anastasias
Pool. Then it's down to Cable Beach, where you have the option to
join a sunset camel ride (BSCR), or enjoy light refreshments and
nibbles as you watch the sunset (BS).
